I paint to make visible the energy that permeates us all – the unspeakable that flows between light and shadow. For me, art is a spiritual path: a silent remembering of who we truly are.
Evelyn Romasanta, a professional artist from Lower Austria, was born in Vienna in 1970. She has been painting and drawing since early childhood.
Although she pursued other career goals, painting was always present and an integral part of her life. After a spontaneous tunnel experience at the age of 21, a new perspective on the human soul and its reality opened up to her. Painting was a therapeutic companion on this inner journey. It wasn't until her 50s that she began to pursue her art seriously.
Against this backdrop, Evelyn Romasanta's artworks can be seen as transformative mirrors. The viewer finds something of themselves in this mirror, something with which they can communicate and resonate.
The transformative power of my art can open the eyes to deeper layers of perception, inviting the viewer to rediscover themselves and the world anew.
